Everybody says they need them. But I imagine less than 1/4 of all real estate agents and leaders actually create plans. Probably only half of those created ever follow them…
So, why create the plan?
It’s not what you think. The best part of the planning process is not the action part of the plan where you create all the things you’re going to do.
It is the review. In this blog, I’ll address the agent’s review.
When you review your last year’s business you can look back on what you did. What it basically screams at you is what to keep and what to toss.
The reason that our plans don’t work is that we do not look back.
Unfortunately, most business planning “guides” leave out the review! Here is one of my analytical tools from my business planning system for you to use to analyze what really happened in your business this last year. You will get great hints about what to keep and what to change.
