How good can you get at training? And should you care?
Have you ever seen an adult do something that was wrong, and you knew it–but that adult did it over and over again? Sure you have. That’s certainly true in training. We have certain habits and strategies that are ingrained in us. Unfortunately, though we don’t realize that they may not be working in our favor.
But, Everybody Else is Doing It….
Complicating the matter is that we tend to copy each other. If we see someone starting a session by wandering around in a vast wasteland of wasted time, we draw the conclusion that it is an acceptable way to start a presentation or class. It’s not. It bores people to tears, it loses the audience, and it immediately sreeches any momentum to a halt.
